In NSW Premier Cricket (Men's), our Manly Warringah 1st proved too strong for Penrith 1st on Saturday.
Across the match we made 8/359, with Penrith 1st on 307. Take a bow, Ahillen Beadle: an excellent 146 not out off 203 balls with ten fours and five sixes. Andrew Boulton led the way with a superb hundred, finishing on 118 off 183 balls. The visitors' best with the ball was Kaine Balgowan (three for 74).
Roop Dhillon picked up three for 81 off 26 overs. Thomas Kaye bowled impressively for two for 54. Adam Bayliss passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 62. Liam Doddrell made a good 53 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century.
It was a superb all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That's four wins on the trot for the team.
Congratulations to the side on an excellent result.
