It was a disappointing outing for our Manly Warringah 2, who were unable to stop Parramatta in Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup & Kingsgrove Sports Poidevin-Gray Shield.
Parramatta set the target, making 4/291 from 50 overs. Santhosh Samuel made a good 116 for the hosts, a century worth applauding.
Our chase ended at 108 from 29 overs. Kai Croft batted well for 16 off 13 balls with two fours and one six. Nilaathan Kulendran took a five-wicket haul for our opponents, finishing with five for 23.
The hosts were simply too good on the day.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
