It was smiles all round as our Manly Warringah 2nd came away winners against Parramatta Second Grade on Saturday.
Parramatta Second Grade's innings ended at 83 and 139, ours at 5/208 and 1/18. Kai Croft made a superb 62 off 81 balls, a well-made fifty. Zach Trewartha weighed in with 44 off 76 balls.
Thomas Kaye was the hero with the ball, claiming a six-wicket haul (six for 29). Kaye bowled nicely for a five-wicket haul, five for 32 off 23.4 overs. Jay Noorbergen was 38 not out for our opponents. The hosts were well served by Prapta Das, unbeaten on 38.
That's back-to-back wins for the group.
Onwards and upwards.
