There was plenty to celebrate as our Manly Warringah 3rd proved too strong for Sydney University 3rd at LM Graham Reserve.
Sydney University 3rd batted first and made 5/208 from 45 overs. Fifty for Ben Trevor-Jones, who made 50 for our opponents. Harrison Allomes chipped in with 46 for the visitors. George Cumming was the pick of the bowlers, taking four for 33 off nine overs.
In reply, the group reached the target at 4/209 in 43.4 overs. Alfie Gatehouse's 62 off 89 balls was a half-century to remember. Fifty for Josh Cooper, who finished with 52 off 52 balls. Ryan Tullia made an excellent 50 off 75 balls, a well-made fifty.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Well done, team.
