It was a tough day out for our Manly Warringah 4th, who were downed by Eastern Suburbs 4th on a day that didn't go our way.
We batted first and finished with 9/129 on the board from 20 overs. Bill Martin played a stylish hand of 39 off 30 balls. Jack Donnan weighed in with 23 off 21 balls. Clayton Herbst returned three for 20 for Eastern Suburbs 4th.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 2/132 in 18.5 overs. Harry Price posted 51 not out for the visitors, a fine fifty. Zachary Haddin weighed in with 34 for our opponents.
Plenty to take out of this one. The group will be keen to bounce back.
