Despite a solid effort, our Manly Warringah 5th couldn't get past Parramatta Fifth Grade away from home.
Parramatta Fifth Grade made 150 and 7/240, and we made 89. Alfie Gatehouse top-scored with 45 off 120 balls. The hosts' NAVEEN PATIL was the standout with the ball, taking seven for 46.
Zachary Buchanan finished with five for 42, a five-wicket haul to savour. Michael Counsell chipped in with three for 17. Juhith Rajesidhiraju made a stylish 112 for our opponents, a century worth applauding.
Credit to the hosts, who played well. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
