There was no joy for our Manly Warringah, who lost out to Bankstown on a day to learn from.
We batted first and finished with 8/82 on the board from 20 overs. Eliza Henry was unbeaten on 44 off 53 balls. Gunisha Garg was the best of Bankstown's bowlers, finishing with three for 7.
The visitors reached the target at 2/83 in 12.5 overs. Amber Smith was the main threat for our opponents, making 42. Darcey Carter led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 24.
A tough day at the office, but one to learn from. A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end. The girls will be keen to bounce back.
