There was plenty to celebrate as our Manly Warringah notched a win over UTS North Sydney by 96 runs on Saturday.
Our innings closed at 4/229 from 20 overs. Fifty for Charles Stobo, who finished with 82 not out off 29 balls. Oliver Davies passed fifty on the way to 76 off 39 balls with seven fours and four sixes.
We bowled UTS North Sydney out for 133 in 18.1 overs. Timothy Reynolds held the visitors' innings together with 37. There were 32 from Dave Dubey for our opponents. With the ball, Ryan Hadley did the damage, claiming two for 15 off 3.1 overs. Stobo weighed in with two for 28 off four overs.
Contributions came from right through the line-up. Getting that first win of the season on the board is a superb moment for the team.
Congratulations to all involved.
