Our Manly Warringah W2 came unstuck as they were downed by St George-Sutherland W2 in NSW Premier Cricket (Women's).
With the bat first up, we compiled 8/166 from 50 overs. A classy 54 off 115 balls from Natalie Guyot was the highlight. Solid support came from Stephanie Hughes, who made 26. St George-Sutherland W2's best with the ball was Jaclyn Vickery (three for 23). Rebecca Olufson weighed in with three for 31 for the visitors.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 2/167 in 41.3 overs. Credit to Mia Pordage, who made a half-century (83) for the visitors. Erica Sharma bowled well to finish with two for 26.
A tough day at the office, but one to learn from.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
