It was a disappointing outing for our Manly Warringah W3, who were bettered by Sydney W3 at Oval 1.
We made 10/147, while Sydney W3 made 8/166. Renee Hough passed fifty on the way to 50 off 74 balls with seven fours. Sophie Beukers added a useful 36 off 59 balls. Deepti Bhanushali was the pick of the hosts' bowlers with three for 13.
Kylie Hocknell made a fine 51 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Matilda Ellis grabbed three for 25.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Thanks to the hosts for the contest.
