It was a tough day out for our Manly Warringah W3, who went down to Sydney W3 in NSW Premier Cricket (Women's) action.
Batting first, we posted 10/95 from 38.5 overs. An unbeaten 31 off 58 balls from Renee Hough was a highlight. Emily Hatfield played a handy knock of 21. For Sydney W3, Kylie Hocknell took three for 20 off seven overs.
The visitors reached the target at 5/96 in 35.4 overs. Deepti Bhanushali batted well for our opponents, making 29 off 91 balls. Bella Bursill picked up two for 22 off eight overs.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Credit to the visitors, and well played.
