Our Manly Warringah 5th were in fine form and proved too strong for Blacktown 5th at home on Saturday.
Our bowlers restricted Blacktown 5th to 213 from 49.5 overs. Credit to Yuvi Singh, who made 47 for the visitors. Murray Moran was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 37 off ten overs. Will Gustafson added two for 40.
In reply, the team reached the target at 3/214 in 32.5 overs. A classy 91 not out off 88 balls from Nathan Cole was the highlight. Mitch McCombe chipped in with 49. There were also handy runs from Rocco Rulli (33).
Bowling our opponents out proved decisive.
Two wins on the trot now for the group. Well played, all.
