Our Manly Warringah W3 got the better of Parramatta W3 on Saturday, winning by seven wickets.
Parramatta W3 set the target, making 10/155 from 37.4 overs. Credit to Chaitra Madala, who made 39 for the hosts. Holly Searles starred with the ball, taking two for 13.
In reply, the side reached the target at 3/159 in 33.1 overs. A classy 50 off 74 balls from Eve Burke was the highlight. Renee Hough weighed in with 39 off 65 balls. Sienna James played a handy knock of 34.
It was a superb all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
Congratulations to all involved.
