It was one to learn from for our Manly Warringah 5th, who went down against Parramatta Fifth Grade on a frustrating day.
Our totals were 192, against Parramatta Fifth Grade's 6/196. Harvey Matheson played a polished hand of 48 off 121 balls. Simon Waddington made 40 off 87 balls. NAVEEN PATIL bowled well for our opponents, taking three for 18.
With the ball, Michael Counsell did the damage, claiming two for 31 off fifteen overs. Zachary Buchanan finished with two for 43. The visitors' best was a half-century from Jayden Paskaranathan, who made 76. Our opponents were well served by Jason Coleman, unbeaten on 31.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on.
We'll go again.
