At Merrylands Park Oval 1, our Manly Warringah prevailed over Parramatta in a polished team performance.
Our bowlers restricted Parramatta to 3/149 from 20 overs. Jessica Hazell made a polished 55 not out for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Chelsea Mclerie starred with the ball, taking two for 24.
In reply, the side reached the target at 3/150 in 16 overs. Fifty for Amy Hunter, who finished with 69 off 36 balls. Shivani Mehta added a useful 33 off 29 balls.
Big runs from our top order made the difference.
