It was a great day for our Manly Warringah W2, who were too good for Northern District W2 in a fine team performance.
Northern District W2 batted first and made 6/121 from 21 overs. Our opponents' best with the bat was Isobel O’Connell, who made 32. Charlotte Allen led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 25.
In reply, the team reached the target at 4/122 in 18.2 overs. A classy 68 not out off 54 balls from Stephanie Hughes was the highlight.
That makes it two wins in a row. Onwards and upwards.
