Despite some good moments, our Manly Warringah 2 came up short against Mosman away from home.
Batting first, the team were all out for 147 in 40.3 overs. Akshay Joseph's 55 off 68 balls was a half-century to remember. There were also handy runs from Reuben Kapoor (30). Credit to Bradley Hansen, who claimed a five-wicket haul (five for 26) for Mosman.
Our opponents reached the target at 5/150 in 29.1 overs. William Allen made 32 for the hosts. Thomas Walker bowled nicely to finish with three for 24. A special mention to Roop Dhillon, who bowled a maiden.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. Chins up, everyone.
