Our Manly Warringah 5th had plenty to celebrate after they registered a victory over Eastern Suburbs 5th to collect a well-earned win.
We batted first and put 2/144 on the board from 20 overs. A classy 64 not out off 60 balls from Alfie Gatehouse was the highlight. Reiley Dunlop passed fifty on the way to 58 off 51 balls with two fours and one six.
We bowled Eastern Suburbs 5th out for 125 in 19.4 overs. The best of our opponents' batters was Guneet Kalra with 32. Finlay Jenkins starred with the ball, taking three for 28. There were also wickets for Robbie Tipton (two for 6).
Great work, everyone.
