It was a tough day out for our Manly Warringah W1, who lost out to Parramatta W1 on a day to learn from.
After batting first, we finished on 6/233 from 50 overs. Take a bow, Lauren Kua: a terrific 105 off 103 balls with fourteen fours. Solid support came from Alana Horsfall, who made 43.
In reply, Parramatta W1 passed our total, finishing on 5/234 in 49.4 overs. Jade Allen finished unbeaten on 46 for the hosts. Kate Pelle weighed in with 40 for our opponents. Our best with the ball was Anika Learoyd, who took two for 22.
Credit to the hosts, who played well.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
