There was no joy for our Manly Warringah, who came off second best against Randwick Petersham at Manly Oval in Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup & Kingsgrove Sports Poidevin-Gray Shield.
Randwick Petersham batted first and made 7/207 from 20 overs. Jack Wood posted 76 for the visitors, a stylish fifty. Roop Dhillon picked up four for 38 off four overs.
Our chase ended at 6/139 from 20 overs. Adam Searle brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 50 not out off 45 balls. Daya Singh was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 5.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
On to the next one.
