Sunday didn't go our way, as our Manly Warringah W2 were bested by Northern District W2 at Manly Oval.
Batting first, we posted 9/102 from 20 overs. Ellie James was the pick of our batters with 26 off 34 balls. Cosette Thomas claimed four for 21 for Northern District W2.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 1/104 in 17.2 overs. Thomas passed fifty for the visitors, finishing with 72 not out.
Credit to our opponents, who played well. It's two defeats on the trot, and the side will be eager to bounce back. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
