The Manly Warringah were bested by Bankstown in a tough outing.
We batted first and put 9/152 on the board from 20 overs. Oliver Davies passed fifty on the way to 73 off 38 balls with six fours and five sixes. Mitchell Constantinou bowled well for Bankstown, taking four for 17. Bradley Simpson added four for 23 for our opponents.
The visitors reached the target at 5/157 in 19.4 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from William Bosisto, who made 55. Ryan Hadley was the pick of our bowlers with two for 36.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
The team will be keen to turn things around after two straight losses. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
