It was a tough day out for our Manly Warringah W1, who were unable to get the better of Gordon W1 on a frustrating day.
First up, we made 10/170 from 41.2 overs. Georgia Adams passed fifty on the way to 60 off 62 balls with six fours and one six. Gordon W1's best with the ball was Olivia Callaghan (three for 29).
In reply, the hosts passed our total, finishing on 6/175 in 40.1 overs. Ami Campbell made a fine 71 not out for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Lara Hughes was the pick of our bowlers with three for 51.
Credit to the hosts, who played well.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
