It just wasn't our day: our Manly Warringah W2 were beaten by Penrith W2 away from home.
Batting first, we posted 8/182 from 50 overs. Elizabeth Cambridge passed fifty on the way to 61 off 118 balls with three fours and one six. Annabel Kyme was still there at the end on 24 off 35 balls. Simran Dhatt was the best of Penrith W2's bowlers, finishing with three for 40.
The hosts knocked off the runs, finishing on 4/186 in 42 overs. Japleen Kaur passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 58.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end. We'll go again.
